Jim has extensive experience in the Corporate Finance market and has completed some one of the largest MBO’s in the Irish market. (sole corporate advisor to the BWG Group Ltd management team in their 2002 LBO). Prior to joining PGL, Jim operated as a sole practitioner in the corporate finance market under the style of James Carr & Associates until 2003 when he set up a unit called PGL Carr Corporate Finance. Jim was a banker for 18 years and held senior positions with Banque Nationale De Paris (Ireland) Ltd and Smurfit Paribas Bank Ltd. Jim is currently a non executive director of Print & Display Ltd, Hickey & Co, Oxner Consultancy Ltd, Orchard Equipment Rental Ltd. He is a former non executive director of DG Motors Ltd, Glenlo Abbey Ltd and Glencullen Holdings Ltd. Over the past 4 years he has been an active advisor to companies in the motor trade at a retail and distributor level.
